It is with deep sadness that we remember the life of Marko (Mark) Kujundžić, who passed away peacefully in Novi Sad, Serbia, on 9 June 2026, at the age of 95.
Marko was a kind-hearted, spirited, and generous man whose life was guided by faith, family, positivity, and humour. After spending 70 years in Australia, he returned to his homeland, where he passed away peacefully in the place he wanted to be. He will be remembered for his unwavering Christian faith, his readiness to help others, his warm presence, and his cheeky sense of humour that brought comfort and laughter to those around him.
Marko will be dearly missed by his four children, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and by all other family members and friends whose lives he touched. He taught his family the importance of doing things properly, taking pride in oneself, and living with strength, love, and hope. Though he is no longer with us, he will remain forever cherished in our hearts.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:7–8
Held at the New Cemetery Trandžament in Petrovaradin, Serbia.
Moments of warmth, joy, and memory throughout Marko's life.
